extension based on performance and project requirements)About the RoleLooking for a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator /
Contracts Engineer to join Systra Dubai team. The ideal candidate will possess
strong expertise in contract administration, commercial management, and
contractual coordination for construction and engineering projects, with
extensive knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage contracts in accordance
with FIDIC conditions of contract.
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize
contracts, subcontracts, agreements, and other contractual documents.
Manage day-to-day contract administration
activities and contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and
subcontractors.
Prepare, review, submit, and follow up on
Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) for approval and certification.
Monitor project cash flow and support
commercial reporting and financial tracking.
Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and manage
variation orders/change requests from initiation through approval.
Prepare and manage Extension of Time (EOT)
submissions, contractual claims, supporting documentation, and claim
evaluations.
Conduct contract reviews, identify contractual
risks, and ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
Support commercial management functions
including cost control, claims management, dispute resolution, and
contract close-out.
Coordinate with project teams to maintain
accurate records and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project
lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quantity
Surveying.
NICMAR qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts
administration, commercial management, or contract engineering within
construction and infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
and commercial management practices.
Experience in handling IPCs, variations, EOT
claims, contract negotiations, and contractual correspondence.
Excellent drafting, negotiation,
communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders,
prioritize tasks, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
