Today AGNI completes its 1st year. A journey which started with few of us on the same day last year to a strong and vibrant alumni community of 5,100 plus alumni members on AGNI app... The first year have been very very exciting. In these last 12 months we have hosted over 14 meets in over 7 cities in India, UAE & Qatar with a participation of 1,200 NICMARians from 1st to 31st batch, backed by a strong support of over 78 active volunteers working in 9 chapters across the world and each one of you. In this journey our primary goal was to bring alumni together to create mutual value through networking, bonding and learning. Our larger manifesto is to transform the Construction Industry by bringing and sharing the local and global best practices. To work on this manifesto we have also collaborated with PMI India, American Society of Quality (ASQ, India), AACE, Index and many active professional bodies on event or ongoing basis working for betterment of the industry. Going forward we intend to take this to the next level and bring more value to this community by working with reputed bodies like IGBC and more. Over past 1 year one major feedback we have received is to bring all of us together in some informal setting as well. We have also realised that working in this sector also takes toll on health and fitness for most of us. While many of us have been active sports or fitness enthusiast during college days, today the hectic work life and lack of community sports is not helping us to be active and fit. We are hence launching a new initiative today with a firm resolution of bringing all NICMARians together for fitter, energised and revitalised Alumni community. We are calling it AGNI-TEJAS and look forward to connecting each one of us and provide opportunity for community sports, wellness and activities to promote well being of our community.
